Founded in 1970, the Brain Research Lab began by conducting histology for small
laboratories in the Boston area. Specimens ranged from frog to monkey and also
included whole mount cross sections of human brain tissue. During the eighties,
however, this service was slowly replaced by a focus on specialty items needed for
a fast-growing Neuroscience community. Today, our products are shipped world-wide
and include high-quality glassware (slides, cover glass, etc.) and a range of items
for histology, some not found elsewhere. We take pride in providing a personalized
service, thanks to our early experience as a histological lab, and are happy to assist
you in locating hard-to find items. We welcome suggestions for new products.
